In this 2-hour workshop we will begin by discussing the anatomy and biomechanics of breathing and respiration. Then we will move on to practicing ways of increasing your breath capacity and ribcage mobility using Pilates small equipment and props. Finally, we will explore some different Pilates exercises and how classical breathing patterns can really help you to execute the movements you are attempting to achieve!
Using a Foam Roller works to create space in the joints and elongates your muscles. Pain and tension dissolves as your muscles surrender and you roll through this Workshop. The Foam Roller Workshop helps you to develop a routine to regularly use and benefit from the foam roller.
